I'm reading the strangest Naruto fic, where Iruka is given the mission to play "mother" to Gaara, Naruto, and Sasuke. It's good in a very odd way. I just came across the best lines.

"“You killed Sasuke’s brother!” Naruto announced, pointing an accusing finger in shock.

“He can kill Kankuro.” Gaara offered."

The fic is called Stuck in the Middle with You, by cityneko.

Poor, poor Iruka.
