Just as an idle note, this chapter is the demon. It is. If I had kept all the stuff I had planned for it, it would have been even -longer-. How insane is that? A few things got moved around, and the order of a few others changed. Now let's see if I can get it all worked out.

This, in the original plans, started as one chapter. Then it split into two, with the Table Lamp of Doom, being the splitting part. Then it grew -more- and had a child. Then I wrote this, and there was so much that I decided to just go ahead and split it again. Now, next chapter is the fun part. Do I split it again, or do I leave it one gigantic piece? We'll see. Okay. You've all heard me babbling on about the Epic fic. The thing has grown to insane sizes, and I've given up on plot bunnies and have settled the plot Chocobos forgottenlover has been constantly pitching at me. Now, finally, part one is coming out. You can all hide in fear now.

Notes: This is a massive AU, deviating from canon before the game even starts. As FL puts it, it rapes the canon storyline to hell and back. Basic idea: What if Hojo, seeing how close Sephiroth and Cloud had gotten, had the blond kidnapped before the incident at Mt. Nibel?
