hardmode
*sighs* Little over 10k. Final work count puts it around 10,500 words.
I only did a fifth of what I had planned, as it keeps -growing-. I added two new sections that weren't in my original notes, and I realized that I was going to keep doing this as I wrote. So I decided to find a stopping point and end the story there.
It covers about two to three weeks of in world time. Out of, what, thirty plus years we get in the games?
*eyes the monster of a fic*
Anyone up for some betaing? I am sure I can use it.

I am now officially scared of how long this fic is going to be. And it's not even the whole story. It only covers about six years, which is -nothing- in the AC universe. Especially in AC II, given that it covers around thirty years so far, between ACII and Brotherhood. And that's not even counting Revelations.

So, I started actually writing my hardmode last night. Finally, right? Broke the story up into fifty sections, figured about 200 words a pop, easy enough, right?
Actually transferred the first two sections over from the notebook I use to write while at work onto the computer.
1489 words.
First two sections. Which are probably going to be the shorter ones, as I still haven't gotten to Leonardo and his wordyword times.

I don't think reaching 10k is going to be an issue. -Stopping-, however, might be harder.
And this story only covers from 1476-1481. I have a whole lot more planned after that.

There is so much story after that which I will have to write later. *nods* But it's a good place to stop, and will definitely have gone over the 10k word minimum. Go me?
*lays out bait for my artistic friends who like Assassin's Creed* You know you want to come draw something for ficcy~ Though right now, all there is is the mingle post, though no artist has tagged on me yet. Hopefully someone will like it enough to draw something for it when the next step comes in the Big Bang.
*bounces off and starts lining up music to write with* Oh, Giovanni and Maria are so adorable when they are being cute together. It's easy to see where Ezio gets it from.

It's an optional post where people are posting ideas of what their stories will be about so that various media people might be able to get in early and really help shape the story.

Media people who did not snag someone at the beginning will be able to pick, first come, first serve, fics to make media for(based off summaries) on June 5th or 6th. *encourages all my media friends to go poke at the mingle post thought* So far, it's only got five comments, but signups just opened up a few hours ago, so it'll probably grow.
