Sephiroth read the report. Then he read it again, just to make sure. Then he looked at Zack. After studying the moment, he looked back at the report again. Just to make sure. Then he looked at Zack again.
“You invaded a country?”
A nod, and the man gave him a sheepish grin.
“By accident?”
Another nod.
“How?”
Zack shrugged. “It was dark, and Jacson was holding the map upside down, and, well, we didn’t realize that there -was- another country on this continent. Seph, when did we get another country here?”
“It’s not so much another country as a group of discontents that pretend they have one. So, basically, you got lost, got shot at, and defended yourselves?”
A nod. “Yep.”
Sephiroth sighed. “All right. I can accept that. But....” He paused, and looked at his second again.
“How did they end up declaring you their national enemy?”
