Well, I did it the other day. I finished FFVII. With my highest character a level 67, Cloud on level two limit breaks(due to the fact I forgot I had to change them until way into disc two), Nanaki on level three, and Vincent on level four. I had less than a thousand hit points each after Sephiroth's big attack and he went poof.

But I beat it. *glees* And I had a shiny, shiny gold chocobo. She's pretty.

And now, pimps

A place where myths go to sleep and be entertained during their rare times awake. People are trapped, unable to use their powers except three times a day, though there are charms that will allow you to use powers you never even imagined. All fandoms welcomed, as are non-canon versions of characters and OCs.

You wake up one morning, locked in a room you've never seen and called an unknown name by nurses who tell you that you are in an mental institute. You are lacking the powers you are used to, and most of the people are unfamiliar. What do you do when the world things you are crazy, and you wonder if some of the other patients aren't in the right place after all? All fandoms welcomed, as are non-canon versions of characters and OCs.

Yay!

*golfclap*

Now to get you caught up on FFs VIII thru XII (minus XI).

Eventually. I think I almost have my dad conned into buying me a PS2 or a PSP for Christmas. And if he does, I can beg to borrow games.

I was having fun a little further on. I needed money to fund my chocobo habit, so I just went and killed the highest AP rated monster I could. And I could do it in one round. So lots of monster hunting. But it was so worth the five mastered Enemy-Alls.

I could end XII whenever I want to. I can just board the airship and fly to the big boss battle, but I'm having too much fun with all the side questy stuff.

Congrats. Now to back track and get everyone to level 99, get all the level 4 limit breaks, get the ultimate weapons, beat the Weapons, master every materia, max out your stats, and get 99 of everything.

Don't tempt me. Now I'm curious on what the differences are between the PS version and the computer version, and I have the computer version on my computer....

Off the top of my head and based on about ten seconds of internet research, the in-game rendering is better on PC, the FMV better on the PSX, and some of the grammar was polished off for the PC version.

The thing that spurred my game-breaking run (minus the 255 stats for everyone and 99 of every object) was Advent Children. I wanted to have the plot "fresh" in my mind before it came out in NA. I started in July... and ended about a year later. Sigh.

Hey since you finished the game, can you tell me who all was there when Sephiroth and Aeris met in that horribly fatal way?

From: [identity profile] icedark-elf.livejournal.com

It's Cloud and any two party members. I had Vincent and Cid with me at the time, but it's Aeris, Sephiroth, Cloud, and whichever two you like. So your choices are Tifa, Barret, Nanaki, Yuffie, Vincent, and Cid.
