Pat Morita died. Wow. He has been forever inbedded in my brain as Mr. Miyagi, the coolest character ever from any of the Karate Kid movies. "Wax on, wax off" Hadn't realized that he was as old as he was, or that he had ever been in the Japanese internment camps.

He is the only famous person who's died this year that I recognized instantly when I heart the name. Weird.

This was very sad to hear. I mean, Pat Morita was a very cool dude. Mr. Miyagi was awsome, and he was cool on M*A*S*H as well when he guess stared. This is just a great shock and loss.

Rock on Morita-sama, rock on.
