Fandom: Saiyuki
Pairing: Sanzo/Goku
Rating: PG-13 for kissing and bad acting. How's that for a warning?
A/N: This is dedicated toumbra_elf, who made my Sanzo/Goku icon.
One thing Sanzo could always count on was the fact that Goku didn’t get sick. He didn’t get colds, he didn’t get fevers, and, other than his noise, was relatively easy to deal with.
So when Goku sat down next to him and coughed, it was completely ignored. Especially since it was the worst fake cough Sanzo had ever heard. When it sounded again, Sanzo looked at Goku from the corner of his eye. “What?”
Another fake cough. “I’m sick, Sanzo.”
“You are not sick.”
“Yes I am. See, listen.” Cough, cough.
“Idiot, that is fake.”
“No, I’m really sick.”
Sanzo paused, then focused on the paper. “Why are you sick?” It was just easier to work his way around the problem that deal with it head on. He tended to get more answers that way. Besides, he would have to let go of his paper to smack Goku with the fan.
“Don’t know. I just am.” A pause, then Goku’s sneaky grin appeared. “You should kiss it and make it better.”
“Kiss what? The cough? And where did you hear that?”
The smile left Goku’s face. “That’s what that woman told that kid after he hurt his arm. That a kiss would make everything better.”
Sanzo could feel the vein in his temple twitch. “Of, for the love of....” One hand dropped the edge of the paper to tangle in Goku’s hair. The younger man was pulled forward and into a deep, warm kiss.
When Sanzo pulled back, Goku licked his lips. “Wow, it does work. I feel a lot better.” The sneaky grin again. “Maybe we should stock up. You know, to keep healthy.”
“Healthy, hmm.” Sanzo folded his paper and laid it to the side. “Hakkai is always going on about how unhealthy we are, isn’t he, saru?”
Goku nodded, his face lighting up. Sanzo felt something in his stomach tighten.
“Well, then. Let’s see how healthy we can make ourselves?”
As Goku pounces, Sanzo had to admit to himself that he had been spending far too much time with Hakkai and Gojyo. He would deal with that. Later.

This is just too cute for words. And what a way to go about fishing for kisses. =P Very nice ending, too. It made me smile the whole time I was reading it. Thanks for sharing. ^^
