Well, finally back from AnimePunch, a minicon at OSU in Columbus, OH.
This was the tinyest con I've ever been to. Highlights of it were the following:
We, Devil's Nest, got our first artist table. That was good, the problem was that very few people had any money. With no registration fee and no dealers room, nobody brought any cash.

ryuuraigeki, who actually knew what I was talking about when I talked about AlterSeries. That was awesome. It's hard to find people at cons who know what that is, recognize my name at all, and to find one at this little con was amazing.
Saw who my friends and I dubbed the Kenshin Twins. They are adorable, and were obviously ninjas as well. At least according to the headbands they wore.

houseofsmex picture commisioned. It's way too cool to not check out. Look for it on the HoS comm.
Saw some people who are part of "Are You Buffet". We once again talked about having a slashcon in the Midwest area.
Someone actually commisioned a fic. I got to write a Naruto/Sakura fanfic for some. I was also the only one at our table to sell anything. But we did sell something, so we were all happy. I promptly spent the money on a pretty picture of DN Angel. *grins*
Went back to our friends house, and twelve of us hung out, eating pizza and watching Loveless. Though a few of the guys hid in the hallway with Bleach to escape the slashyness of Loveless.
Mmm. Boys with kitty ears.
All in all, not a bad con, but it could have used a dealers room. Really.

My poor friends had no idea what we were talking about. XD Oh well. I'm going to start shoving FMA fanfic at Danielle (who is internet-less due to restrictive parents) once she finishes the last seven episodes....alterseries is definitely on the list.
And it's a sad thing when conventions have no merchandise. -__- Sorry you didn't sell much, better luck next time? :D I'm saving for an Edward wig, so all I bought was some stickers from the table at the end of the hallway. Whee for Edward heads! XD
