This article made me do a double take. I never thought I would see the word "yaoi" in regular newspaper. I got the link from

*reads article* Y'know, whoever wrote that must be either familiar with the fandom to begin with, or *really* did their research.

And while the word "yaoi" isn't that surprising to see in a column on anime fandom (seeing as it *is* a pretty basic and common word in the fandom in general), words like "seme" and "uke" definitely are unusual. Especially getting all that terminology right.
