Gah! More Alter!Series. Still blame hime1999.

It wasn’t easy adjusting to a new world. Ed knew that first hand. Most of the time, it wasn’t something he had dwelled on. He had just gone about his business as best he could, blending in when possible.

Masuta was doing the same, but Ed knew just how hard it could be.

All it took was a word, though, to remind you. Or a smell, a taste.

Or, most of all, a familiar face.

Ed remembered the first time Masuta had met Sensei. The man had turned far paler than Ed had ever thought possible. It took him only a moment to realize the problem and to introduce the two, then separate them. That hadn’t helped as much as he had liked, so Ed had hustled the older man outside.

Once in the sunlight, Masuta seemed to regain some of his color, but his eyes were still shockingly dark against his skin. “I….” he started, stopped, then swallowed hard.

“I’m beginning to understand some of your reactions, Mr. Elric.” Ichiro said softly “That was… disconcerting.”

And Ed knew exactly what he meant.



*goes into hiding from the bunnies* I don't have time for this!

Where is it at? *is too nosy*

I'm going to keep writing these until someone yells at me to stop. I'm sure of it. On the other hand, I've corrupted one more friend to the series. *grins*

Make the Masuta/Roy/Ed/Riza bunnies go away. I don't need anymore crack like that.

Am writing it. I'll post it along with the Alter!Series guidelines. It's time to reorganize everything, seeing that I'm not the only writer any longer. ^_^;;
