Had a 5.4 magnitude earthquake shake Illinois today, which caused where

seanmonster, and several others of us live to have a wobble. A few minor spots of damage, and the reports so far are it's been felt in four states.

It was odd. For a moment, I thought it was an explosion. Then maybe some sort of wind activity. Then it went to earthquake.

Sort of funny that most peoples first thought, if you listen to people talking, was either explosion, or a pet.

All sorts of fun out here today.

I thought I was dreaming when I felt it. Of course, I was very tired and probably wouldn't have woken up all the way for anything less than, say, Meteor.
