crappy day

Had a car wreck last night. Me and skeren are okay, just shaken up. I ache like mad, but I don't think the car is damaged too much. The passenger side mirror is gone, and the metal above the front passenger wheel was peeled back like a can, but it was drivable. Got to go talk to the insurance people Monday, and deal with the body shop.

Today sucked. *nods*

So if I seem a bit quiet, this would be why.

Eek! Oh my heavens, I hope it really is repairable, that there's no frame damage! I'm also glad you're both okay. Just... keep yourself relaxed, just in case of muscle strain or such. I had that sneak up and bite me in the rear once, getting strained muscles in a crunch up and then making it worse the day after the accident.

Oy. Good luck with the insurance people, my sympathies for the damage, and both of you take it easy on yourselves for the next week or so physically, and the next month or so psychologically. (I mean that bit about the psychological taking it easy, too - no guilting yourself to death about the whole business.)
