Finished KHII. Now to go to my last save point and work on defeating Sephiroth. *nods* And I come with a KHII/FFVII snippet. Stupid bunnies.



It was funny. He had always had the same, hollow feel. Had it since he could remember coming into existance. Only a few things, a few people, had made him feel as if there was more. As if there was something to this business of having a heart, something that made all this worthwhile.

But not at the cost of this kid.

"I wanted to see Roxas. He...was the only one I liked... He made me
feel...like I had a heart. It's kind of...funny... You make me feel...the
same... Kairi's in the castle dungeon. Now go."

He reached out, opening a path for Roxas.... No. Not Roxas. The person who made Roxas whole, something he couldn't have done. It was good for the kid. At least Roxas would know what it was like to have a heart, to remember what things were. For him, there was only darkness and nothing.

Perfect for a Nobody.

Things were starting to fade around him as his being began to break apart. He was a Nobody, and once he had given everything, well.... That was it for him.

He could feel those blue eyes on him, and wondered if the kid's hair was just as messy in the mornings as Roxas's would get.

He hoped Roxas wasn't watching this.

And then everything went away.

Zack sat up, gasping for air, eyes wide as they darted around the room. No strange tunnel, no weird things to fight, no kid with big blue eyes and spiky hair looking at him with worry.

Slowly, he calmed down, and rubbed his hand over his face. What a dream. Didn't like that dream, and wondered what caused it, so he could avoid it in the future.

With a sigh, he flopped back down. Had troop introductions and a tour tomorrow. Had to get some more sleep if he was going to deal with the new crop of kids who joined up. Pushing the dream out of his head, he closed his eyes.

Creepy dream, but just a dream.

Right?



.... I totally need an Axel and Zack icon now.

Ohhh, that's so intriguing. I heard theories about Axel being Reno's nobody, but never this. *pets the shiny*

I've seen a story or two with it being the other way around, with Axel being Zack's nobody, but I decided to play with it the other way. Just becaues -Axel- thinks there is nothing for Nobodies after they stop existing doesn't mean he's right, after all. How many people know for sure what happens after they die, you know?

I just finished KHII. Next up is KH. (yes, I'm playing them backwards) If I can get the system to play it and the game, I'll work on CoM.

And maaaaybe Cloud'll be there. *grins*
