Yet another bit of ficlet. Not complete. I've gotten to a certain point, and can't figure out where to go from there. Yes, it's FF7. Yes, it's the fivesome. Check it out and offer suggestions. I have so many ideas in my head that any comments might jar them out. Just whack them hard enough, and it might start a chain reaction.
They are not the traditional lovers of fairy tales and romantic ballads.
Nowhere close, in fact.
Traditional lovers are a cutesy pair, loving just the other. Traditional couples live together, their time rarely spent without the other at hand. Traditional couples are well divided, one the strong protector, the other the sheltered weak one. Traditional couples speak words of love, words of devotion, words, words, words.
That is not them.
There are five of them, all loosely bound in a woven web of connections and touch. Five. Three more than tradition allows, but that doesn’t seem to bother them at all.
They are scattered over the city. While three of the five live together, one live in another home nearby, and the last lives in the slums. Their time is split between the other four, jobs, and general life. Sometimes, one won’t see another for a week or more. That is simply their life, though.
There are divisions among them, but it is not so simple as in the tales. All of them are strong enough to stand alone. While some are better at it than others, all of them are capable of defense. They simple chose to stand together.
Words are not how they show their love. Actions speak far better for them.
I want to do a storyline where Cloud and Vincent long outlive everyone else. Because of that, I want to also do a miniseries, showing the fivesome from Cloud's pov during various aspects of his life.
*does a little dance* I'm a crackhead.
Anyway, feel free to read and tell me how much it sucks. I'm writing at three in the morning, and very much aware that it needs beta'd, badly.
