It might be an idea to get an IJ - I don't think commenting on the feed translates back to the original.

I'm currently starting to clean up my journals - checking the layouts and such (my IJ needs the whole layout done, but I'm just transferring the one I have on this journal over instead of working up a new one) but I doubt I'll use them much, except for something to comment with.

No, that much I do know. Commenting on the syndicated account won't get to the original feed at all. Wouldn't it be interesting, tho, to crossfeed everything? LJ and GJ (http://www.greatestjournal.com/syn/) and IJ (http://www.insanejournal.com/syn/) all interlinked through RSS. (Didn't find any syndication info at JF.) Paid member'd have to set it up, tho.

I linked the IJ and GJ syndication pages in my comment above; a paid member at each site'd hafta put in the RSS feed address of each of the other journals desired. For example, to link icedark_elf's LJ, the feed would be:

or
http://icedark-elf.livejournal.com/data/atom

depending which one you wanted to use. Looks like IJ & GJ use the exact same syntax:

http://icedark-elf.insanejournal.com/data/rss
http://icedark-elf.greatestjournal.com/data/rss

and then all ya gotta do is copy/paste the LJ and GJ into IJ, and LJ and IJ into GJ. 'S'not a big deal, I just thought it was amusing.
