Look, I'm finally doing it. >.> *coughs*

Step One

- Make a post (public, friends-locked, filtered... whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 mumblemumble holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.

- Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ, or link to this post (it'll be public) so that the holiday joy will spread.

Step Two

- Surf around your flist (or friend’s friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:

- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

Okay, I normally memory all these that pop up onto my flist, but I've been slacking lately. So, I'm screening comments, and feel free to toss up a link to yours in the comments. Then I can go look at yours and see what I can do.

No Christmas cards from me this year, as I always fail miserably at it, but feel free to leave your address, and, who knows, I might do it this time. *coughs*doubtful*coughs* Give me a poke if you want my address, and a way to get it to you.

Okay, list time.

1: I blame this completely on Fandom Wank, but I want a JournalFen account. So much shiny on F_W, and I can't interact at all most of the time. And I can't afford to buy an account myself. Edit: *coughs* I had it pointed out that I should give a name if I'm asking for this. I'd prefer to use my LJ name if possible cause, if you look at 10, you can see part of my memory issues. Yay me? *is an idiot* Thank you, [livejournal.com profile] purple_alicorn. Let me know if you want me to take your name off the thank you, but.... *squees and huggles you*

2: Everyone, will really hard for a laptop to fall my way. New, used, I don't care, but if enough people will it, maybe I'll luck out and come across someone who has one really cheap, or something. Mysterious relative leaves me one, anything works, really.(I would die if this really happened. I should just wish for the winning lotto numbers while I'm at it. Oh, why can't I have wank like Laptopgate?)

3: Fanart. Fanart always makes my day. *nods* Specially if they do it over my fics.

4: Fanfiction set in any of my verses. Just give me a poke, cause I usually pretty willing to let people play in them.

5: Tiki Mick stuff. Anything with Tiki Mick from D. Gray-Man. *loves on the dorky bad guy*

6: Same with Zack from FF7. They are both dork love.

7: Tickets to see the Lord of the Rings Symphony at Louisville. *wills really hard to see that* Sooooo much shiny.

8: A job. *mutters* Preferably one where my allergies won't get me killed.

9: A way to get to Anime North. I have a place to stay, just need to get there and maybe get a con pass. *plots* Of course, if I get 8, that would help out a great deal. *eyes people who read this journal and wonders if one of them is a magic, wish granting fairy. cause that would be cracky awesomeness.*

10: I had more to add, but I can't remember them. *grumbles at self* I could put a "What this space for coming attractions" but I would forget. Yeah, those of you who know me, think of this as a free space. *nodsnodsnods* I'm horrible at asking for things that I really expect to get, I really am.
