Ahhh! I wasn't saying anything about your betaing skills, I've even done this to College professors, and we're all human. From what's been explained to me, sometimes when we (people) read things, we skip over words or phrases because we're used to them being written, so we don't notice when there might be a mistake.
You seem to be an awesome beta, because you apparently take the stories, correct them, and send them right back, without taking days or weeks, like some people I've heard of.
