Torn

“Gods damnit! Why don’t you go fuck your little girl whore, then! Seems all you’re interested in is what you can stick your dick into!”

Hiss-spitting the words, Chaos spun around and stalked out. Vincent paused just a moment as he was sure he saw a bit of deep pain flash in Zack’s eyes. It vanished before Vincent could be sure.

“You had better go ahead, Vincent.” Cheerful, fake voice. “Or else he’ll start being pissed at you.”

Still torn, Vincent did go after his twin, a bit worried about the other man. Worried that was well founded when it turned out that, half an hour later, a very frustrated Sephiroth asked them if they had seen Zack.

Wandering the city, Zack kept repeating the words Chaos had shouted at him. He….it wasn’t like that. It really wasn’t. He wasn’t with Aeris just for sex, just like he wasn’t with Chaos and the others just for sex. That the man had said that, and apparently meant it…..

Zack’s chest felt tight. And he wanted to talk to someone about it, but…. Everyone he would talk to was involved.

Sometimes, life really sucked.

He couldn’t pick. He had been with Vincent and Chaos and Seph and Cloud for a while, but…..

“DAMNIT!” he spat, putting his hand through the nearest wall. The pain flared bright, and he focused on it, anything besides how much his heart hurt. Damnit, they didn’t have any right. He had slept with Cloud first, then with Seph, then with them. They didn’t have any right to get mad at him for doing with Aeris the same thing that he had done with them.

Hand throbbing, head aching, feeling like he was being torn in two, Zack walked.

Had to be some way to work this out.
