I'm going to toss up the Questing Archive notes here. Maybe later I'll move them to HoS, but I've taken over enough of the comm for one night.

Anyway, playing rules for Questing.

The biggest one is this: Questing is basically two couples and one odd wheel out coming together. Not everyone is comfortable, not everything is going to go smoothly.

Now, for the rest.

Roy and Ed were together before Ed went through the Gate.

Roy and Al meet. Eventually, they became a couple. They didn't actually get together until after Ed and Masuta came to the FMA world.

After a few years, Masuta and Riza slowly found themselves together. That was the time period when Masuta went to Ed and asked him to stop looking for a way to send Masuta home.

In our world, Masuta and Ed had been working their way towards a relationship. After they ended up in the FMA world, and Masuta saw Roy, he broke it off.

There will be six parts of the Quest fic that is the start of the Questing arc. Anything after Ed and the other four move in together is free rein. I reserve only the right to get them together. If you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. I'm always willing to babble about my babies.

Ouch, that sucked for Ed, didn't it? *can't wait to read*

Am I the only one who sees something unintentionally wrong and cruel in Masuta's actions? I mean, he leaves Ed because Ed used to date his alter, but then he hooks up with a woman who spent years longer than Ed loving his alter.

No wonder Ed's so sodding miserable. To him, it'd be like everyone around him is saying, "You're not good enough for me, but this person who's just slightly different from you is perfect."

*nods* The best part is that I don't think Masuta realized how cruel he was being. Of course, in my head, he thought Ed was using him to replace Roy, so I can kind of understand it.

I am going to make them all suffer! *cackles*

*grins* I'm having fun writing it. What I can't wait is until other people do the same.

Ugh...At the same time though, to think you were being used as a replacement, and then turn around and basically do the same thing...And I think the fact that it was an unconcious decision would make it even harder to take. Ed can't say that Masuta did it to hurt him, because it wasn't intentional. Ed can only decide that he wasn't worth the effort of a relationship. Poor Edo. ::pets him::

One reason I so wanna see more of this series. :) Oh the guilt and angst!

....and may I friend you?

Go right ahead. I can always use more friends. I'm planning on having fun with this series.

It's weird. Somehow, Havoc moved into my notes and is now Ed's main confidant. *shakes head* My muses scare me.

LOL Boss. I friended you ages ago. I was asking Hal.

Probably should have used better phrasing, yes. ^_^;
