As far as I understand it, Envy never had any blood link to the boys. Hohemhiem, I think, had a different body at the time. Different mother and different father-body. Beside, his 'real' body died, so no link left there. Since he's a homunculus, he isn't even 'soul' related to them anymore. I'm not sure what to say about the link at all. If we say he's their half-brother, in a twisted way, we have to say Sloth was their mother, which she surely wasn't. *head hurts*
On top of all that, I like the idea of sins actually beeing the alternates from the other side of the gate being pulled in. I need to write something about that. *runs around*
