gen_challenge is now taking up prompts as well.

Like the big coms of Yaoi and Het challenge, gen_challenge is focused on taking prompts including fandom, characters, and prompt ideas and having stories and art to post for them on the day they are due. The bit difference is the focus.

We don't focus on pairings. We like plot. Snippets of life. Genfic, the sad, under-loved cousin that nobody talks about.

Come. Submit as many as you'd like. Feel free to join in and write or draw like a mad thing. I don't mind if you use prompts you submitted to other coms, just remember what the focus is.

Would sign up, but leery of labeling my not-shippy fics as "gen" due to large, large hangups that can only be explained in a long, long entry.

Well, as long as the pairing isn't a super focused part of hte story, you can have pairings as well.
