Top five liked and unliked characters.

Liked

Zack Fair-Final Fantasy VII: Yeah, he -is- the list. Totally.

Abel Nightroad-Trinity Blood: He's got the dork with hidden awesome thing I like.

Sokka-Avatar The Last Airbender: Same as Abel. Sokka got much cooler once he took a few levels of badass.

Nicholas D. Wolfwood-Trigun: It's full of mercy. Come on, -Wolfwood-!

Xander Harris-Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I got a thing for dorks who prove they can kick ass.

Honorable mentions: Dimitri(Anastasia), Kenshin(RuroKen), Merton(Big Wolf on Campus)

Disliked

Shinji Ikari-Neon Genesis Evangelion: I'm sorry. He's annoying as hell, and I wish to smack him.

Squall Leonhart-Final Fantasy VIII: I like Leon from KH, but he is a much calmer, much less whiny version of Squall. Squall himself, from FFVIII, I wish to smack.

Esther Blanchett-Trinity Blood: Just for what she does to Abel in book four.

Most of Organization XIII-Kingdom Hearts CoM/II: I'm sorry. Most of them are rather gimmicky. I like them better in the mangas.

Most early Disney princes/princesses. They creep me out.

Yay Zack! XD

Squall and the CoM OrgXIII peeps I don't really know that well, but CoM itself is on my no-play list because it just weirds me out.

Soooo much agreement about the princesses. The main Disney female-character that I like is Mulan, and she's not a princess, no surprise. X3

Random question - do you have msn?

From: [identity profile] icedark_elf.insanejournal.com

Sadly, no. I have Pidgin, which I use most to access AIM.

I do have a Yahoo name, though.

Hmmm. I have msn, a yahoo that I never use, and meebo. Maybe we can figure out a way to cross these in a useful manner? *g*

Also, I'm on right now, if you're not doing anything X3;

....once he took a few levels of badass.

That's right out of TVtrope.org! ^__^

About Kenshin, I really liked him up through the Kyoto Arc, but afterward... phfffft!

Oh, yeah. I've been reading that like mad the last few weeks.

And I pretend everything after the Kyoto Arc didn't happen. Like 99% of Kenshin fans. Hell,I pretend the third Samarai X movie doesn't exist, and that line of thought is supported by the manga-ka himself.

Liked

Sydney Losstarot - Vagrant Story. Only man in history to make double amputation *sexy*. Plus; the snark factor and sheer wit.

John McCain - Die Hard. First, Bruce Willis. Second, *Bruce* *Willis*.

Tim Drake - Batman. The Robin who re-wrote what it meant to be Robin. The kid who stalked batman at age nine and out-sluethed the master detective by age eleven. The kid who has gone through so much canon hell it's a miracle he hasn't turned into a raving mass murderer yet.

Kid Apollo - Authoriteens. Cute, kick ass, deadly, and most importantly, *cute*.

Heero Yuy - Gundam Wing. The boy who got me into anime and still rocks my world.

Disliked

Romeo Guildenstern - Vagrant Story. Take all the terrible things about Hitler, Polpot, and Emeril Lagasse and put them in a buff Ken doll. I love to hate him.

Hojo - FF7. I don't know what it is about him, but he sets off my 'creepy icky kill kill' instincts.

Superman - Superman. The guy is a dick. A massive, over powered dick. 'nuff said.

Xemnas/Xenohort - KH2. Okay, so Ansem was evil. No, wait, Ansem's Nobody was evil. No, wait wait, it's the Nobody of some other dude who can't shut up who was pretending to be the Nobody of Ansem who was evil. ARG! Kill 'em all!

Prince Charming - Any Disney movie. Lets face it, by the time he showed up and saved the day you wanted to kill the prince, kill the princess and steal the horse. I hated the princes more than the princesses only because they were interchangeable, characterless characters. No personality, no pizazz, no back story, just a deus ex machina tossed in to rescue the fair maiden. Guess what, if he'd left well enough alone, I bet the girls would have given up on waiting and figured out how to save themselves. Eventually. If not, it's genetic cleansing.

I accept that the post-Kyoto stuff happened only in the most limited sense -- i.e., when Saitoh and Aoshi get to be deliciously badass. ::malevolent purrrr::
