A few people and I've talked about this before.

Tempted to restart Fellowslash and set it up as a multifandom con. Just a big old slash con, set in Louisville or someplace close like that.

Anyone else interested in a con that is in the Midwest/East area of the country? Gods know I can't be the only one who can't fly out to Yaoi-con who wants to meet and hang out with a lot of fellow slash fans.

Personally I'd like Indy better than Louisville, because I know of a fabulous sushi restaurant in Indy and don't know much about Louisville except that it's farther from Illinois, and as an avowed car-hater, that's a not insignificant factor in my personal calculations, though not so much in other people's of course.

In other news? YOU HAVE CORRUPTED MY BRAIN'S VERY WIRING.

I'm designing another database (despite the fact that yes I am an English major with no formal CS training whatsoever) and I'm writing up documentation for it and reading it over and my brain keeps screeching to a halt on one of the most standard acronyms.

PK is SUPPOSED to mean primary key when I'm writing databases.

Give you 3 guesses how my brain ACTUALLY reads that acronym, and the first two don't count.

I suspect this needs to be a cat macro of some sort, naturally involving a blue-eyed Siamese, but haven't yet figured out whether it should begin with 'I'm in ur database' or 'I'm in ur neurological wiring'...

Hrm. I'd be interested, though Louisville is about twelve hours from home, in a car.

Maybe somewhere in Pennsylvania, Harrisburg or Pittsburg or something? Or Columbus?

Because I'm so damn lazy when it comes to more than ten hours in a car. I'm so selfish.

I've been thinking of moving it to either Indy or Columbus, OH. I'm going to get opinions. And kidnap people to, you know, help organize it. *flails* Gods, I suck at organizing, and, look, my second attempt at organizing a new con. I'm stoopid.

I'm very tempted to try Indy. *wry grin* Original Fellowslash was in Philly, and kept moving around. I'm most tempted for Indy, but now I'm tempted to try it up there. Maybe I'll start a group for people who want to help me hash things out.

You would mention something like this just as I'm planning on moving out to Portland after I graduate in December, wouldn't you? Especially as I live in Lexington - going to grad school at UK currently.
