Yep, this is what you’ve been looking for – a fan convention organized
around LotR slash!

Fellowslash is in its third
year,
and will be in Chicago this year. We’re planning many flavours of GOOD
TIMES.
Examples:
PleasureWare Party hosted by Early to Bed, Chicago’s first
woman-owned and -oriented pleasureware store
Workshops on the art of beta-ing (being and using a beta), and
on
cultural competence (why do Brits say it like that? … and how do
you
order coffee in New Zealand?), and Legalities of Slash Writing
Panel discussions on Anal sex and Safe BDSM
A group outing to The Baton, Chicago’s premiere
female-impersonator
cabaret

And lots of time spent with other slashers, talking, reading, writing,
watching films and clips.
