My baby, the LJ comm

houseofsmex is going to be a year old on Feb. 3. That's only two days before my own birthday.

HoS started off as an

alter_series based crackfilled fic I wrote called Morning. It focused on the typical morning of the household of a fivesome pairing. Ed/Al/Roy/Riza/Masuta(for more on Masuta, check out AS) Gluttony quickly followed it with one called Evening. Random blurbs happened for a while after that, and I decided to make everyone's lives on the AS comm a bit easier, and started HoS as it's own comm.

We exploded.

I have no idea how many fics are up, but we have at least eleven different story arcs, the main archive itself, not to mention spawning a wildly mutated child or two. We spawn the whole arc of genres, from angst, to fluff, to breaking the fourth wall, to crack, and death.

A strangely limited concept, we've grown more than I've ever expected, and I want to say thank you to those who've really helped me out with it. *waves at
