Odd One Out

Sometimes Rukia feels the odd one out. She's the dark one, the small one, the girl. Her two lovers are both tall, with bright hair, and very, very male.

When they walk together, Renji and Ichigo tend to loom. And they are the ones that peoples eyes drift to first. It's their hair, bright red and orange. Not normal colors for this place at all.

Sometimes, when they are together, her men share a look that is purely male.

The worst is when Ichigo and Renji fuck. When they mix fighting and sex, with bites and growls and sheer body mass, each tryin to be the one on top. Something they don't dare do with her.

Though sometimes it feels good to be the odd one out. When they walk, she feels like the night, braced on both sides by sunset and sunrise. It's almost poetic, something Rukia is highly embarrassed about and hopes nobody ever finds out about it.

And while she knows she'll never fully understand the looks Ichigo and Renji share, she knows they happen most when the three of them are in bed togther. A kind of "Look who we have in our bed".

Well, she had her own version of that. Her version tends to appear after her men have collapsed on the bed, covered in bites and scratches and sweat. While she may feel left out a little when they fight like that, Rukia does have to admit one thing.

They look damn hot when doing so.
