Name a character from a fandom I'm familiar with and I'll tell you three (or more) facts about them from my own personal pseudo-canon.
Edit: If you are doing one of the specific AUs, like Gracious or Mercverse, make sure to note that. And feel free to ask for multiple people. I find this fun.

Reno

Reno's marks at intentional scars, and he did them after being recruited by the Turks.
Reno only sleeps with his fellow Turks. He may lie his ass off and say he's scored with all sorts, but he only trusts the other Turks enough to let his guard down that much. He's seduced people, but never taken past the level of groping.

*glances around before ducking* I'm not hiding from my muses. I'm just.... waiting for them to leave for a few minutes. That's it.

Muses leave? That's news to me. And feel free to toss some more names at me. Just let me know what series you want to know. I can answer multiple questions.

Vincent of the Blond Harem 'Verse

He enjoys sparring against Cloud, though he doesn't want to do it in front of the others. The looks that he gets from them at times disturbs him enough. Especially after he's just changed into one of the demons. Strangely, it's Rufus's reactions he worries most about when it comes to the demons, and Vincent doesn't understand that at all.
Vincent is well aware that, one day, he's going to be alone. That's why he didn't fight this. Humans, even enhanced humans, are frightfully fragile creatures, and he's well aware that he's not human anymore, though the others are extremely thoughtful about not mentioning that.

They call each other brothers, but really, it's more than that. To the three of them, the others are both everything, and the only things they have to sacrifice.
Kadaj is jealous of Cloud, who gets to be free. Yazoo hates the blond for existing, and Loz just wants to be accepted, and will take that acceptance from whoever he can get it from.
When Kadaj became Sephiroth, Yazoo and Loz were both relieved and upset. Because they had lost Kadaj, but they had lost him to what he wanted to become.

She's not sure how she feels about Cloud. There are a lot of tangled emotions between the two of them. She's unsure of if she love-loves him, or if it's simply how she interprets it. But she is positive she wants him to be happy, and she's going to start thwapping him if he doesn't stop moping.
When Nibelhiem happened, she hated Zack more than she hated Sephiroth. She got over it, but for a while there, when she blamed everyone from Shin-Ra for the destruction, she really did hate Zack more, simply because she liked him so much. He was a nice person, and that was a whole new level of betrayal on top of everything else.

She remembers the labs, and of a boy who was there as well. She didn't get to see him much, but she does remember him, and it surprised her, years later, when she sees him again. And saddens her that he didn't remember her.
Though she said it wasn't serious, she loved Zack. And part of her broke when she found out he wasn't coming back. It wasn't something obvious, but she started to listen to the voices more, and hated them even more when they couldn't give her anything. At least until Cloud crashed through her roof, who had a Zack voice all around him.

Aeris has her guys totally wrapped around her finger, more so after everything than before. It's partly because she's the only girl, and partially because they are, for the most part, physically stronger than her.
Sephiroth wasn't sure how Cloud would take him the first time Aeris and Zack convinced him to visit the man. It didn't go well, but there wasn't a fight. When Aeris and Zack dragged Sephiroth with them to give his apologies, Cloud had simple left. It took several months for him to return to the church and listen to them, and then he was able to accept what he remembered.

Every few decades to ever few centuries, depending how the time has been, Cloud has himself a case of disassociate personality disorder and goes roaming, not having a clue on who he is or anything about his past. He doesn't remember what he does during these times, but it obviously hasn't been too bad yet. He figures it's just a way of coping.
Cloud likes having people around, but he also hates it. Because, inevitable, they die on him and he never really has gotten the trick of dealing with it. He would hang out with the Cetra, as they seem a lot longer living than most people, but they don't like him. At all.
He's got this slightly obsessive tendency to track people and their descendants. It's one way he keeps a feel for his place in the world. It keeps him human, remembering the people he used to be close to. More than once, he's been tempted to just take over everything, then he thinks about what kind of disorder that would cause, and how it will affect his last best friend's great-great-great granddaughter. So he doesn't do it.

Who next... Oh, I know! Rufus from Another Chance.
no subject
He owns Vincent. Big time. And he's well aware of it. Of everything that has gone one, that is the one thing he's most irked about. And most happy for.
The Turks are family. They've stood with him, through the fall of his company and through the start of sickness. No matter what happens, Rufus will protect them as best he can, even as he knows they'll do the same.
no subject
And gender-bender!Sephiroth.
no subject
He isn't sure about the whole fighting thing, but he does like being faster and better than everyone at it. Less so when he's sent out on his first mission.
He has a horrible, horrible habit of bringing things home that he really shouldn't.
Gender-bending Sephiroth likes playing with shiny things, and he does find that materia of Zack's a very, very shiny thing.
Even as a girl, he's very careful about how he does things, even more so than as a guy. He's never fully sure on how things move at times as a girl, so is more cautious, just in case. He really isn't sure about boobs, really.
He likes the whole dating idea, and takes care to always pull his hair back, and make the "girl" thing very obvious. Because that way, nobody can really say he's the General when he's obviously female at the time.

How about wibble-fic!Cloud?
no subject
He hates that, in a way, he's responsible for the death of all three of his loved ones.
He wonders if, eventually, he'll be able to stay with them, or if he'll always be sent back, and if that's his punishment for killing them originally.

Al likes Riza. He feels like they kinda have the same role, which is to keep the people they care about safe and whole and preferably healthy.
Al really, really hates how Ed seems to not pay attention to his desire to get his limbs back. He knows Ed is more focused on getting Al's body back, and doesn't care so much about his limbs. But Al wants Ed to have his arm and leg back because if one of them is going to be fixed, they both should be. Also, he doesn't want to have to see that reminder of how they failed everyday, and he plans on being with his brother everyday.

The most instinctive way Sephiroth interacts with magic is to hear it. For him, it sings, and he can't help but follow the pattern. It's why he's always careful about what music he listens to. If he's tired, and the music calls to him, he'll pull up the magic to fit it and never even realize until it goes off somehow.
He finds Cloud's inability to use magic hilarious. When they first met, he would randomly give the man magic artifacts, simply to see what would happen. Eventually, he got over it, though he found the explosions more than worth the loss of the item. Sometimes, when they need a really big bang, he still will toss something at Cloud that will react to the magical odd zone around the man.

The reason Misa wants to be famous is because, if something did happen to her, she wouldn't be forgotten. She knows Light might kill her at any time, and if she dies, she wants to make sure that her name will live on. She's aware of how stars who die in their heyday develop followings, and while she might not be around to enjoy it, it's possible that Light might still be able to use her name.
Misa was fond of L, though she tried hard to not be. She was aware he still suspected her, but she was also aware that he didn't have to be as nice as he was about it. He could have left her locked up and unaware, but he let her out, gave her a chance to keep doing what she wanted to do, and let her spend time with Light. Those were the only reasons she only did token protests to his presence, which were expected of her.

Sephiroth finds he really isn't fond of the tentacles, but they do come in handy. Mostly with keeping Zack and his tentacles away. Sephiroth isn't sure what the other man's obsession is with his extra limbs, but he does find having so many extras are good at keep Zack's tangled up.
Strangely, having the tentacles have made him relax. Sephiroth finds them a confirmation of what he's always felt, that he was something different, alien. The fact that all the 1st classes get them doesn't bother him so much as they aren't very human either.
Cloud is the best thing he can think of to come from the entire mess with the tentacles. The boy still treats him the same, though he has the same unholy fascination with the limbs as Zack does, but whenever Sephiroth tries to tangle Cloud up, things lead from one thing to another and he finds that the tentacles aren't so bad after all.

Yeah. Have I mentioned I really like the tentacle-verse, and the Another Chance verse? Because I do. Lots.

Vincent and Chaos are one of the rarest events in the world, a pair of half-demons twins who survived. Their mother is the only reason for that, as she stayed until they were five. Like all other half-demons, they require both parents around until five or six to keep their energies balanced. It's also why they are drawn to other demons, as it help them feel more balanced and calm.
They enjoy playing with people. For those who aren't aware of the fact they are twins, they'll play the switching game. It amazes them that it still works, even with the differences in hair length, and the fact that Chaos is usually a little more pointy than Vincent is.
Chaos is, of course, the wilder of the twins except in one way. He really doesn't like alcohol, though he will drink it. When they were younger, Vincent was the partier of them pair, and Chaos simply followed him around. Vincent grew out of his wildness. Chaos grew into his.
Zack wants kids. He's afraid to do so, though. He's aware his job is not the safest of jobs, and unlike Cloud, if something happens, he wouldn't come back. Another reason he hesitates is because of Court. He is well aware of how backstab politics can be, in some cases literally. He doesn't want to expose any children he has to that danger. If he does have them, he's not registering them with Court.
The first time he and Cloud slept together, Zack felt a little odd. Not bad odd, but odd. Mostly due to the fact that he felt he should have some kind of squicked reaction, but didn't feel anything of the sort. It helped that Cloud was the only person he trusted enough to sleep with.
Zack is probably a master tactician. He's the best Cloud has ever seen, or at least recalled seeing. However, Zack won't actually do anything of the sort in real life. In a game, like chess or other strategy games, he wins. Every time. However, the moment it involves real people, he stands back and lets Cloud or Sephiroth take the lead. It's not that he doesn't trust his own ability, but because the second any of his pack's lives rest in his hands, he had an instinctive "Kill it now" reaction which is not the response they need most of the time.

The image of Vincent going on a bender and Chaos pulling the "Why must I be the grown-up?" face is a good one.
And Zack's l33t with strategy does give more credence to his getting chummy with Caesar, doesn't it? Oh, shit, plotbunny...no subject
And, yeah, Chaos is all "Why am -I- in charge?"

OGToF Rufus ^_^ pretty please.
no subject
Ooh, this'll be a fun one.
Rufus is ruthless. No surprise, I know, but this one, currently, would sacrifice up the Turks if it got him what he wanted. He's not aware of it, but Tseng knows about this plan, and is quietly making counters against it. If Rufus found out, he would have the man executed.
Rufus hates Shin-Ra with a passion. He thinks it's an antique that has no real place anymore. The company started off as a weapons company, and now is electrical. He wonders where his father was going to take it next, and is relieved to have it in his possession now, though he will have to plan carefully on what to do with it.
He also, strangely, believes more in the future of humans in the stars, not in the Promise Lands. If not for Jenova, he would have shoved the Ancient research to the side, rid himself of Hojo, and started to put money back into the space program. If something happens to Jenova, he might still do so, but at the moment, he finds her too useful an ally to do away with. However, there might still be new funds going to the Space program, though none of the old hands will be allowed to enter it. Rufus has no need for people who gave up their dreams so easily. At least, that's how it seems to him.
hmmmm
and
Demon Zack
Re: hmmmm
When Cloud first started to talk to the cat, she though he had really lost it. But then Sephiroth did the same thing, and she still thought they lost it, but at least it was a shared delusion.
Because she knows that the cat talks to Cloud, and to Zack, she doesn't dare let him around when she's doing something that might be a surprise.
DemonyZack, well, isn't sure he likes his demon. Mostly because the demon is female, and that causes some issues from time to time.
Having the demon has only upped Zack's urge to have kids someday, though he is now a little worried about doing so. And he's tired of telling the demon that, if kids are in their future, they are -not- going to be the ones carrying them.
Sometimes Zack will say something, and it's not really him talking, but the demon. Which has lead to an embarrassing situation or three. So he is careful about who he relaxes around, because most people wouldn't understand that he's got a talkative guest in his head who sometimes runs away with his mouth.

When he was younger, Cloud always wanted siblings. He figured that having brothers or sisters would give him someone to play with, who didn't look at him like most of the other town people did.
Cloud has a fascination for high places and walking them. Ever since the labs, his balance has been insanely good, and he finds he enjoys walking on thin, high places. It drives the others nuts, which is another reason he does it, especially when he's in a mood.
Nidara is a classic scientist. She only believes in things she can touch, manipulate. Even now, after everything that happened to her, she believes only in what she can touch.
She's got a weakness for materia. Magic of all sorts fascinates her, as it one of those few things that she really can't explain with science, though there is a science to using it.
Nidara hates Nibelheim for one than one reason. She hates the people, she hates the climate, she hates the primitive conditions of the Mansion lab. Maybe if Orrin hadn't died, she wouldn't have hated it so much, but he did, and she blames Nibelheim for that as well.
Tifa was happy in Nibelheim. Even with everyone leaving, it never really occurred to her to do the same. For her, Nibelheim was home.
She always thought that Cloud and Nidara were pretty. Nibelheim didn't have many blondes, so they stood out. Not to mention the spiky hair. She always wanted to know how their hair did that.
Even now, Tifa wants to go back to Nibelheim someday, but not now. Not till the memories stop hurting so much. But she plans to go back and help rebuild. After she has a chance to explore Midgar. She's also thankful to Shin-Ra for sending supplies to the town. Or so she thinks.
