How did you get your start in your current fandom?

madamhydra's CoI. I had been going through her RK stuff, and decided to read the rest of her stuff. So, suddenly, One-Winged Angel had a fandom. >.> *is bad*
Then I watched Advent Children, and that made my friend drag out the game. I watched that be played in chunks, and dug out what material I could find over the game. Started RPing, andbard_linn kinda nudge me over the rest of the way. But she says it's still my own fault.
And now here I am, playing with pretty shiny things.
