Oooh, productive day today. Cut, cause long
Got a call from St. Judes. I'm hired. Start Nov. 5, make nine dollars an hour working 4-8 Mon-Friday. Apparently, the supervisor doing the interview really recommended me. And they found out I'm really not a midget goat crack producer. ignore the sleep deprivation babble
I have a chance to earn from 1-6 dollars more an hour on top of the nine dollars base pay, and they have me marked down to get one of the 1:30-8pm jobs once the five weeks of training is up.
So, one parttime job lined up.
Called a newspaper person today. They might have a spot that's about ten mintues from my house. 100 dollars a week, two hours a day at most, Mon-Fri. 50 miles a day, but that's like...two gallons of gas. I can handle that.
Still hope to hear from Dr. Bizers, as that woman said that they were short handed, only had five people sign up at her store, as most of the people at the job fair were public transportation users, and from the far side of the river. She also seemed willing to work around the St. Jude job if I got both. *glees*
Aaaaand....
Wrote lots of PuppetKitty and Vincent and Blond Harem fics today. I am now half done with both of those. *glees* Need to get them beta'd and posted, but I'm half dooooone! Also have my prompts for all but two 30 Kiss(Sephiroth/Zack) fics planned out, a chunk of my 30 death fics(Cloud) plotted out, all of my 25 prompts(FFVII/Naruto) planned, and my 30 for 3(Sephiroth/Zack/Cloud/Aeris) worked out. So I'm good. 95% of my prompts that are by myself are ready to be written.
Got nano all figured out. Just need it to start. More people in my area now, so maybe I'll get more things done. Shiny fun. More Gracious, everyone.
Writing the last chapter of AC right now. Will have it done by tonight, will hopefully get it checked over the next day or so. Then I'll be done. Over a year of work(because I suck and am slow)will be -done-. Stupid fic, just supposed to be a one chaptered one shot. *scowls at it*
Wow.... It's going to be very, very strange to have that done. Very strange. And tell my brain it reeeeally doesn't need to write what-if's of Cloud picking one of the other choices, way back in the first chapter.
Oooh, yeah, before I forget....
Master Magic materia is -shiny- So worth mastering up all those greens.
Now to get yellow and reds finished.

As for the newspaper people - if you are talking about a paper route...I do that as a sub-driver for a living. I work 3-4 hours a day, drive 80+ miles in country scenery - best job I ever had. Really cgood pay too. While I am on the road, I can listen to my own music, be my own boss, and generally enjoy the drive.
The only bitch is the Sunday papers and if the presses run late which can put me in all sorts of traffic. The other thing is that Monday thru Friday they run me during daylight hours and the weekends are run *very* early morning which can play havoc on my sleep schedule.

Though, if Dr. Bizers calls me, I'll be trained to be an optical tech, which would be a good job skill to have. And I think she'd work around the St. Judes schedule, as she was asking me what my hours there would be.
