Begging for help....

Trying to work on the next part of Another Chance, for ladynero's bribe fic. But I need help. My dad decided to fuck with my computer, and all my stuff is now gone. All my music, all my AMVs, all my videos and everything else. This includes my copy of Advent Children and Last Order.

What does Marlene call Aeris?

And if anyone has a copy of either of the films, I'd desperately appreciate it. I know I'm getting AC, but not till Christmas, and that's a looooong ways off. I'm willing to whore out my mediocre writing ability in exchange.

And, so this isn't a completely wasted post, the ficlet I wrote after watching the end of disc one.

She’s always walking away.

The last time he talked to her while she was alive, she was walking away from him in the dream. They never actually spoke after that, he had simply watched her die.

She was walking away again, not that he could blame her.

He had reminded her of him, she said.

He couldn’t blame her for walking away when the one she had cared for first was waiting for her in the door.

They both walked away, with a wave and a smile.

It wasn’t goodbye, though.

It was just a “we’ll see you later.” One day, he’d see them again, and then, he hoped, they wouldn’t be walking away.

That’s why he could smile for them.

I couldn't remember if it was oneechan and oneesan, and sister just sounds strange in English, so I'm thinking of just using it. And if you could, that would be lovely, and I'd write fic for you in exchange.

*scritches them* My first thought after the dream sequence that leads to Aeris going poof and then vanishing, was that she's always walking away from Cloud. And that popped into my brain. I'm just slow writing it.

Several gigs of music, gone, quite a few doujin, and just...a lot of stuff. If I hadn't already copied my Gracious notes to thumbdrive, they'd be gone. And...oh, it would have been bad. I'm already pissed he lost all my stuff, most of which I'll never be able to get back.

And glad you liked. It just was in my head and wouldn't go away.

As someone already said, Marlene calls Aeris Oneechan. The other kids in Cloud's resurrection scene, too, call her that, so I think it's a common thing, that she was 'Oneechan' to all the slum kids.

You know, if you take your system to a computer tech they might be able to get everything back for you (since technically all that got erased was the directions telling the computer where everything is).
