Aww. ;-; Poor Zack. And Seph, but Zack's the one who has to actually, physcially live with the changes. While I love the hilarity of the genderswitch fics/ficlets that I've read before this, this really is the dark side of the whole genderswitch thing. I think that, if Zack actually could have control of the whole thing, he'd have a blast with it, like in the drabbles. Because then he'd know that he's male, and he could change back at any time.

But for a group of control-freaks like SOLDIERs (and I imagine that most SOLDIERs are, at least to a degree, control freaks), this has to be terrifying. They aren't in charge of this change at all, and if something goes wrong (like one of them getting pregnant), then there's nothing they can do.

Something that occurred to me is (even if you don't agree with this stance, or they don't agree with it), why doesn't abortion come up as a possibility, even if it is a distasteful one?
